RELEASE: Unite the Country and Communications Workers of America Announce Harris Ad Buy

Unite The Country & Communications Workers of America Announce Michigan and Pennsylvania Ad Buys in Support of Vice President Kamala Harris

Unite the Country (UTC) and the Communications Workers of America (CWA) today announced a comprehensive ad program across Michigan and Pennsylvania targeting African American voters.

In “Delivering for America”, CWA workers tell the story of how the Biden-Harris Administration has rebuilt the economy through union labor and connected kids, teachers, healthcare workers and first responders in African American communities to the technology needed to compete in the 21st century.

“As Vice President, Kamala Harris has fought for American workers, created economic opportunity for the middle class and ensured all children can share in the promise of affordable high-speed internet,” said UTC Executive Director Steve Schale. “As President, she will continue to move this country forward for all Americans and we are proud to partner with CWA to share this message with voters across battleground states.”

“Kamala Harris has met with CWA members at the White House and visited them on the shop floor,” said CWA President Claude Cummings Jr. “She has been a true partner in our efforts to bring affordable, reliable high-speed internet to all Americans. As President, Kamala Harris will make sure working people have a seat at the table.”

UTC And CWA will run digital and radio ads in both states starting later this week and throughout the rest of the summer.
